国外吉他发烧友关于布劳恩吉他的评述，他有大约25把名琴，其中有三把布劳恩的琴，其他的不乏“大牌”，比如豪瑟、罗德里格斯以及要等15年的那些当代制作家的琴。他说在这些琴中，布劳恩的琴是他的最爱。

I own 3 of Tobias' guitars. I've owned about 25 guitars in my life, most from "big name" makers including Hauser, Rodriguez and other contemporary makers with closed or 15 year waiting lists; I won't mention names, some of them are friends. Tobias' guitars are EASILY my favorite. He's currently making 2 models, the "Santos" and the "Manuel Ramirez." I own 1 of the former and 2 of the latter.
The Ramirez model is smaller, with a big, full and rounded sound, and super responsive. The Santos model has all that but is more profound and has even more volume, but is slighlty less responsive. However, the Santos is VERY responsive, moreso than most guitars.
The string tension is perfect, not tight but slightly stiff, just enough so it isn't mushy. It's similar to a good Hauser, who also got the tension right.
Tobias' guitars have tremendous sustain, gorgeous tone, wonderful balance and every note is independent. I could go on and on about Tobias's guitars, but I'd like to conclude by saying they are consistent. By consistent I mean that they sound great after being played a few minutes. I've owned other guitars that sounded great 1 or 2 days a month. |
